BRIDGE Group and Moser Architects celebrated the beginning of a new boutique hotel in Vienna with a groundbreaking ceremony on Nov. 29, 2016. By early 2018, Hotel MOOONS will be built on Wiedner Gürtel, promising its guests exceptional design and exciting gastronomy at surprising prices. At the official groundbreaking ceremony, the classic spade was dispensed with, and, in keeping with the hotel’s name, the MOOONS flag was raised by owners Michael Davidson (Bridge Group) and Arch. Dipl.-Ing. Marius Moser (Moser Architects), Mag. Stefan Hitzler, COO of MOOONS, Martin Lachout, CEO of ARCOTEL Hotel AG and Landtag President Prof. Harry Kopietz. Kopietz on the planned construction of the hotel: “As President of the Provincial Parliament, I am particularly pleased about new hotel projects that enhance Vienna as a business location. Tourism is one of the most important economic drivers for our city. Investments in this segment secure jobs in Vienna and the attractiveness of Vienna as a destination in the international arena.”

The MOOONS hotel project was jointly launched by BRIDGE Group and Moser Architects. “The MOOONS brand stands for affordable luxury, made possible by a well-thought-out hotel concept that is efficient in terms of space and personnel. Budget solutions are more in demand than ever – but the discerning guest should not have to do without high-quality design and intelligent service. We have found a niche in the market that is not yet being served this way,” says Michael Davidson about MOOONS. As a competent partner for the implementation, the BRIDGE Group brought Moser Architects on board. And Marius Moser is also pleased about the cooperation and his latest project: “For us, MOOONS is an exciting challenge, as we not only have the role of creative architects here but are also active as co-investor, owner, developer and operator at the same time.”

MOOONS was able to win ARCOTEL Hotel AG for operational hotel management. During the project development phase, ARCOTEL provided valuable input regarding operational optimization. The company has 27 years of experience in the business and, as a “host with a passion”, attaches particular importance to a personal and individual environment with international standards and top quality.
